Year 6 students perform a road patrol service before and after school at the pedestrian crossing on Abbott Street and the traffic light crossing on Ottawa Road. Students are on duty between 8.30am and 8.55am, and 2.50pm and 3.15pm each school day.

Each pair of year 6 students are supervised by an adult volunteer. If you are able to assist with supervising our road patrol students please contact Chantal McKee. You can read more about what being a road patrol supervisor involves here.

Please help us to keep all children safe by ensuring that when dropping off and picking up your children you avoid the following while students are on road patrol duty:

Parking on yellow lines or in a position that makes the student patrollers’ job dangerous

Performing three point turns or U turns

Backing into driveways

Driving down the school driveway for drop-offs or pick-ups

Driving through road patrol signs.
