Office Manager Vacancy
Commencing Monday 27 January 2025. The hours of work are 8.15 am to 4pm (negotiable) during school terms.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised person with a strong administrative background to fill the role of Office Manager in our school office. The school is located in the heart of Ngaio. With strong community support and a team of dedicated staff, Ngaio School offers an excellent collegial working environment
Key to the role is the ability to multitask and prioritise, as you handle queries from visitors, parents, and staff and complete a varied range of task-based work. . This front desk role also deals with accounts payable, payroll, school donation processing, and other general administration duties. Caring for our students is a key part of this role, as you attend to their numerous queries and support them when they need first-aid care.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills, computer skills, great attention to detail, and understanding of accounts processing. Payroll experience would be beneficial, but if you don’t have this we are willing to train you in this aspect of the role.
We are looking for someone willing to go the extra mile in this busy, challenging but rewarding environment.
