Piki ki te Tuī – Waiata
All children at Ngaio School receive Te Reo lessons within their classroom programme. In addition to classroom-based language and tikanga lessons, children also participate in weekly Waiata (singing) sessions. Children can also choose to join our Kapa Haka Troupe, who practise weekly and perform in assemblies and other special occasions.
Every term we have a Whakatau to welcome new children and teachers to Ngaio School.
